How to Find Novel Raws to Translate

Have a novel in mind but not sure where to find the raws? This guide will show you the different ways you can obtain the raws.

1. Browse our list of raw websites

Check out this list of websites where you can find Chinese, Korean and Japanese novel raws.

2. Using NovelList

An easy way to find novel raws is through NovelList:

  1. Go to NovelList.co and click on the "Browse" tab
  2. Search for the novel you want to translate
  3. Click on the "Where to Read" tab to find various sources for the novel link.
  4. Go to the Getting Started guide to learn how to translate it using OpenNovel.

Alternative Methods

Search Using Original Title

  1. Go to NovelUpdates and find your novel
  2. Look under "Alternative Titles" for the original title in the raw language
  3. Copy this title and paste it into Google
  4. Look for raw hosting sites in the search results

Ask the OpenNovel Community

If you're still having trouble finding the raws:

  1. Join the OpenNovel Discord
  2. Post in the #general channel with the name of your novel
  3. Our community members will help you find the right raw source
